Empire Toys Bikes

Empire made an assortment of different vehicles much like the Marx Big Wheels but with a licensed twist, they used Superheroes to sell the products. Thanks to Mike Jimenz for the awesome scans.

With his upcoming movie, it's no surprise Superman is featured but the lack of Batman merchandise is surprising.

The Hulk's TV popularity made him a late seventies merchandising staple.

Spider-man was briefly on CBS prime time during this period.

The "Superman Machine" is the thinnest disguise of the Marx Green Machine ever, Marx wasn't producing toys at this point so I guess that's ok..
