Stretch Monster trading card

After the success of Stretch Armstrong in 1977, Kenner followed up with Stretch Monster, an enemy for our elastic hero. This may be the case where I like the villain figure more than the hero as Stretch Monster embodies almost everything I like about the 1970s, part Incredible Hulk, Part Sleestak, Stretch Monster has got it going on.

Muppet John sent in some toy love with this classic shot of his mom grappling with his Stretch Monster on what looks like Christmas morn. Stretch Monster should know better than to mess with Mom, no toy can defeat her!

The Japanese company Tsukuda did a total facelift on Stretch Monster and made him an alien. Which is strange considering how much the Japanese like their reptiles.

From what I understand the name translates to "Stretch Andro".
